Announcement: FITM Rescheduled

To the Fire In The Mountains Family,

As the team behind this event, we too have been paying close attention to the ever-evolving presence and impact of COVID-19 in the world at large, and all of the changes and concerns that have come along with it. As we have monitored all of this, with regular discussion amongst ourselves, our friends and our artists, it started to become clear over time that postponing the event was the only responsible option. Since that time we have been working diligently to get our ducks in a row on rescheduling.

This event is a passion project of ours, and it revolves around the community it brings. As such, the safety of that community – our attendees, performers, staff and neighbors will always come first. With all of the uncertainty around Covid-19, we would want neither to risk the safety of our people, nor to exclude those who didn’t feel comfortable making the trip out in the current climate.

While postponing the event comes with a heavy heart, as it has been seeing so many other events, artists and businesses that we appreciate being affected, we are very glad to say we are still going to hold this edition of Fire In The Mountains.

Fire In The Mountains will now take place on July 23-25 2021. It will still be held at our beautiful location at Heart Six Ranch, in the Teton Wilderness. Ivar Bjornson has remained on board to Guest Curate the event and present his showcase “On Wings Over Utgard”, and Enslaved is still coming to headline the event. From what we have seen in our communications thus far it looks like most, if not all, of the original lineup will follow suit as well – as well as all of our esteemed workshop presenters (even a few we hadn’t gotten to announce just yet 😉 ).

All tickets purchased, as well as any add-ons or accommodations booked through us at www.fitmfest.com will be fully honored for the rescheduled event, and ticket holders will not need to do anything to retain their tickets. We appreciate the support of all of our ticketholders now more than ever, as we had already invested heavily into the planned event for this summer when things started to change. Any ticketholders with questions or concerns can certainly reach out to us at [email protected] .

While we are saddened to see the event postponed, we are so happy to still be bringing this thing to life. We will all be in need of an escape when this is all over, and we now look forward to this more than ever.

Everyone please, stay safe, stay healthy, consider the safety of those around you. We can all work to get past this, and when we do, we will see you in the Mountains.

TO 2021!
